I dont feel compelled to join in on a lot of forums/postings...
I grew up in Europe, watched the US Marine hoist the flag at the US Embassy and got hooked, ended up in Force Recon & lateron Army SF
I love what everyone said on this thread, my heroes always were the US servicemen burried at the cemetaries accross the land for which they fought & died in the country where I grew up ( Luxembourg)
Thanks for reminding me what an honor it was to serve alongside the greatest fighting men - and most determined bad asses to ever destroy communists/insurgents/ terrorist and any other flavor of enemy of all free people
